According to the article, when the author had opportunity to dive in the Japanese ocean he was surprised to find that there were many trashes on the bottom of the ocean. He think the ecosystem have already been hurt by pollution, increased acidification, and the warming of the water. The rubbishes accumulate for a long time and the animal lived around the ocean begin to eat them. Albatrosses and turtles were dead because they choking by rubbish. They can not distinguish the plastics or food. There are many consequences that the ocean has damaged: climate change, sea level rise, ocean acidification, overfishing, loss of biodiversity, and increasing of invasive species. And the marine system does not have any problems, the problems are extrinsic. It is impacts by humans’ activities. They have three solutions to rebuilt ocean healthy. First, use Seascape model with management of broad marine areas. Second, they are increasing that modal for larger-scale regional management. Third, they will have a steady fishery management. People will work hard to improve the ocean environment. And it is also can be a solution for our climate environment.

In this article, the author tells a very serious problem, the pollutions of the ocean. Ocean covers the 90 percent of our earth. The problems of ocean will affect our life directly. And it is also affect the climate. Because of people the animals all over the word become decreasing. All the animals are the part of the food chains. If we lose some parts of the food chains we will have many consequences that we cannot shoulder. So we must protect the animals. In addition, we must protect the largest area of this world- ocean. All the problems depend on humans’ activities and behaviors. And the solutions this article told are improved the awareness of people to protect the ocean environment. I think it is the only solution for ocean. People must realize they are living on the only earth, if they do not protect it well, this world will damage. And the first step is from the ocean. Therefore, we must notice the consequences that the ocean has already brought us. The ocean environment destroyed by us, and we must rebuilt it by ourselves too.
